As a dedicated player that plays on both sides of the ball, I have learned a lot about who I am on and off the field. My passion and dedication fuels me to embrace the challenges of playing on both sides of the football. I have a true love for football because of the teamwork, discipline, physical demand, mental toughness, and resilience the sport requires in order to be great. Besides the physical preparation the sport requires, I am constantly working on my mental game, finding ways to analyze the game better and studying film. Being a part of a team has taught many valuable life skills as we all depend on each other, trying to achieve common goals. My role includes playing on both sides of the ball and it is something that I embrace, thriving in high pressure situations and not being afraid to put the work in to be successful. My versatility and work ethic make me a valuable asset to any program.
I take the role of being a student athlete very seriously. Every single day I push myself to be the best individual I can be, changing my best daily. I make a very conscious effort to maintain meaningful friendships, taking time to also support them in their sporting events. I give my full attention and effort each and every single day, whether in the classroom, on the field, volunteering my team for youth sports, or working. Balancing all of these areas of life is challenging but the effort and commitment I put into everything I do helps me grow and become a more well-rounded person. Football has taught me invaluable lessons about leadership, accountability, and being a great teammate. I am excited to continue to work on my skills, pushing my limits, and eventually taking the next step in my football career.
