I have had a passion for football since I started playing in 3rd grade. I like to think of myself as a very dedicated and coachable player who values being a teammate and a leader. I assumed my first Varsity starting role at Oxford High as a Sophmore last year and although I was voted Most Valuable Lineman, I am reminded of our dismal season. This season, despite the impact of Covid 19, I hope to help lead my team to elevate our overall level of play. I have worked my butt off to become physically stronger which I feel gives me a mental edge over my opponents. I feel my work ethic and dedication to the sport of Football are second to no one at any level of Football. My work does not end with football. My GPA of 3.9 in an honors curriculum shows that I know how to give 110% in the classroom as well.
Although I am undecided as to which direction I want to pursue for a career, I know playing college football will help me become a leader, grow my network and help me surround myself with positive people. My college goals are to continue growing as a person, increasing my network of positive people and develop into a leader myself. I envision myself working with children to be a positive role in their lives as well; maybe a coach, administrator or even a teacher.
