I am a highly coachable individual with work ethic second to none. I prefer to let my play and performance do the talking.
For the Fall 2023 Football season, my primary position will be OG. As the only returning starter on the line this is where my team needs me to lead in the trenches. I understand that I am currently undersized for the OL at 5'11" and 225 for many college programs. Previously I was over 255 lbs but decided to become faster, stronger and more athletic to be a better rounded player. I dedicate hours to the weight room and have worked with personal trainer to design work out programs specific to my goals. My athleticism, physicality and willingness to accept new challenges makes me an excellent candidate for other positions like FB, LB, or DE at the DII level in college.
Additionally, my academic focus is reflected in my 3.93 GPA. My Senior year of High School I will also be completing roughly 24 College Credits through PSEO opportunities at Bemidji State. Currently I have 7 College Credits with a 3.81 GPA. In total, by the time I graduate High School, I will have 31 College Credits.
Being a college athlete will allow me to gain experience both on the field and in the training facilities which would ultimately provide valuable experience and knowledge relating to my future goals in Exercise Science, Strength and Conditioning Training, and Coaching and developing future athletes.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Riley Branson
