Baseball has been a huge part of my life. Playing baseball has always been something that I've always enjoyed doing. It has given me different qualities on and off the field. Playing baseball since a young age has made a major impact on who I am.
Unlike most years, we have all had to deal with a pandemic and being quarantined. During that period I kept focus and worked out as much as I could because I knew I wanted to play baseball at the next level. We had very few games in the summer but I kept at it by working on my hitting and fielding skills. This was the time where players really had to decide what they wanted to do and I knew I wanted to play baseball. I am 5’11, 285 pound 1st baseman but I can also pitch, or play 3rd. I play for my travel ball team and have been playing with them since elementary school. We placed second in the state tournament last year, this was a very fun experience with a lot of good competition. This tournament taught me that we all need to play together as a team to succeed, we can’t rely on just one or two players.
I am open to any type of school and any region of the country. I haven’t selected a major but like to stay around sports and just help people. Everything about sports has made me into a better person and player. I have also liked to have a leadership role on and off the field. Whether it's just making sure everyone has their confidence or just helping my teammates get better, I have always wanted to be helpful to others. I also have always wanted to help people. I love when you can just do something for someone and they’ll just glow up with a smile. That has always felt good when I do that.
I feel these qualities would benefit your team on and off the field. I am looking forward to finding a school that will allow me to have a great college experience. Also to follow my childhood dream of playing baseball at the collegiate level.
