Beckham Van Voorst '27 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play football at a college level and I am driven to make this dream come true. I am passionate about playing football, as I have played tackle football since third grade. I have many attributes that make me a great candidate for your team. I have been told that I am coachable and a natural team leader. My physical versatility and knowledge for the game allowed me to start at safety, which was a position I had never held before. I enjoyed this challenge as I played against faster and stronger players, which helped improve my knowledge and skills for the game. Finally, I strive to be great on and off the field, as I am in advanced classes and on the honor roll. I feel my position as quarterback plays a role off the field as well, as I try to help my friends and classmates make good choices. Many of my teachers have commended my caring nature. Relationships are important to me and being part of a football team has been one of my favorite parts about sports.
