I want to play college ball to take my game to the next level and represent my school as member of a winning team . I played soccer beginning when I was 7 years old until I was in middle school, when I switched to basketball. Staying active athletically has always been important to me and I learned a lot by participating in both sports that I have been able to apply to my game on both sides of the ball. Football is definitely my sport. Each time I hit the field my aim is to take my game to the next level. I play to win and my teammates respect me as a leader who sets an example of belief in our abilities, determination and grit.
What makes me stand out as a player is my ability to recognize my size limitations and replace that with instincts to the ball. I am self-critical, but not in a bad way. My head is always in the game, I am highly coachable and ready to overcome mistakes in the previous play by executing in the next. I extended my training beyond high school by participating in 3 years SDSU summer camps Aces Elite traveling 7v7, where I played all over the country and learned from coaches and players outside my region.
My motivation to play college football is inspired by my Dad who played football at a D II school. I understand in order for me to reach my dreams to play college football I have to commit to my academics as well. I consider myself a non-traditional learner and struggled to get the grades I know I can achieve in high school. The possibility of playing college ball motivates me to work to meet the academic requirements needed to complete my education in a school that is a good fit for my learning style and goals.
