Personal Statement

My name is Michael Pettit. I'm currently a junior attending Pillager High School. I love playing sports and spending time with my family and friends. I play varsity football and golf. I'm currently 6'3" and 220 lbs. I ran a 5.51 40 this fall before I injured my ankle. I started varsity as a sophmore and as a junior on the offensive line. I received the Husky Award for my leadership, work ethic and team spirit . I would do everything in my power to help my team win. I am the first to get on the field and the last to leave. I would like to go to school in the Midwest region( Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska) because of the conveince for my family. The enrollment size of the school doesn't matter to me, but I would like it to be more difficult to get into. I want to push myself to be the best. I want to challenge myself to be the best. A high academic level would be a must and the preferred division would be D1 or D2. I have not narrowed down my major but I am leaning towards sports medicine or athletic/ personal training. My goals are to play at the highest level of competition and make an immediate impact on a team. I have a very high endurance level and will work as hard as i can to get to the next level. It is my dream to play college football. Thank you for your time.

p.s. My parents did not have enough money at the time to make me a recruit. So i will not be able to know what college coaches have contacted me and I'd like to reply. If you wish to contact me, I am availalbe at [email protected] Thanks so much, Michael Pettit
