Since fourth grade I have been playing tackle football and my love for the game has made me into the man I am today. I have learned that hard work, sweat, tears, and a family who supports you 100% is the key to a successful education and goals that need to be reached.
Many goals I am working hard to improve on would be to excel my grades, being more active in the community, and getting through the next few years as best as I can. One of my goals is to get into a great college which will help lead me to the NFL. Graduating from a great college with a Sports Medicine and/or Athletic Trainer Degree is in my future.
A main obstacle that I am dealing with right now is the loss of my dad this past September(2014). It has been a challenge for me, but I stayed strong, focused, and know he will be with me throughout this whole process. My mom has and will be by my side through everything, and right now we lean on each other for support.
Many years I have been playing on offense and defense which gave me great skills for multiple positions. I am fast, strong, flexible, and a leader on and off the field.
Playing football for me has increased my mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Teammates wanting the same goal and putting their best performance on the field is what drives me to play harder.
