I am Charles Brooks II of Greenwood, Mississippi, a football player in the class of 2019, who alternates between the center, guard, and defensive tackle positions. A member of the varsity team since my freshman year, last year I earned starter status. It is my desire to play football at the college level. I am respectful of all adults and open to all guidance and constructive criticism that will help me develop into the best player I can be. It is my desire to be an integral part of a team that starts strong and finishes strong through hard work and determination. I have been a member of various teams since the age six years old, beginning with Pop Warner football, the Cub Scouts, where I became a Boy Scout, and an Alto Saxophone player in the school band. Being a part of various types of teams has allowed me to learn about myself, my fellow teammates, and the world around me.
I have been an honor roll student throughout my academic career and am a member of the National Beta Club. I enjoy math and science and advanced to the State Science Fair in my Freshman year after progressing to the regional science fairs in prior years.
My plan is to pursue a degree in Agriculture and attend a university/college that is progressive and would be a good fit for me academically and athletically.
Finally, while I enjoy being a part of a team, giving back and doing for others through volunteering, which I have had the opportunity to do since being a Cub Scout.
