Nick Thompson '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a leader. I take responsibility for those other 10 guys I'm on the field with. I am very coachable, I am able to figure out my mistake and fix it there and continue to work on it so it does't happen in important situations. I also think I do a pretty good job with uplifting my teammates and encouraging them when they're dragging around feeling sorry for themselves. My mental health plays a very big role in this. Short-term memory is what I live by on the field, for me to be a leader I have to stay out of my head and just play what happens happens, you can't change the past. Because if a team sees a leader give up they give up so it is important for me to forget about the past and worry about and focus on the now.
