My college goals are to play college football and excel in my degree in business. I plan to own several franchises and hope to be able to give finacially to my parents nonprofit that does a great deal for low income communities.
I am the candidate for any team that wants a hardworking, disciplined, teammate. I have played football nonstop year round since I was in the 4th grade, and I have not one time thought about quitting - except once, but I pushed through it. I had to learn real perseverance because I have always been the youngest on any team and the smallest, until my Junior year. This is what has always made me have to push and prove myself more than some others. I was smaller, but my heart for the game and my love for making plays for the team has always been bigger than my body. I was only 5'4" my Freshman year of High School on a team that was filled with people twice my size. I was only 13 years old when I got there and I played Varsity. I actually played in a few games and touched the field Freshman year on a team that was the returning State Champions.
Before this school closed down I was number one in my class, tracking for valedictorian. I can't say I love school, but I can say I excel at it. I actually like math a lot and wiriting fictional stories. My coaches and my parents have taught me, the same effort I put on the field belongs in the classroom also.
What has seperated me is, I don't give up. It did not matter to me that everyone was bigger or maybe smarter. I came to compete. In my mind I was a giant, and then Junior year my body caught up with my heart. I finally grew. That did not stop me from working hard, I would leave school practice and still go train. I trained daily in weights and then a few times a week with my speed trainer. I believe my talent is from God and I should work hard to say thank you for giving me what I love to do. So, I believe. I work. I believe. I know I was made for football and it is not just a game to me. When I am on the field, and able to contribute to the team, I am on my mountain. Some people are doctors and lawyers, I am a football playmaker.
