Hello, my name is Jayce Schroeder. I am 16 years old and a junior at Powder River Co High School in Broadus, MT. I live on a ranch in southeastern Montana with my family. Since I was 8 years old, I have been in the 4-H program and I have also been enrolled in FFA since I was a freshman. During the summers I have a job as well as working for my dad on the ranch with caring for our livestock, haying, and harvest. I have maintained straight "A"s in all my classes this year and I am now on the Student Council representing my class. I have served as my class president for 3 years as well as competed on our varsity golf team and qualified for the state golf meet. I am also playing varsity basketball. I invested in an agility program over the last summer to increase my speed and vertical and I was very impressed with the results. Our team's quarterback was injured last year and I, unexpectedly, had to step up and become the quarterback for our team. Since the football season started, my ability to read defenses and make plays has increased very noticeably. My understanding of the defenses has come from playing outside linebacker and being a diversified player.
