The biggest down set of my sports career was when my team lost its star player. We all wondered what exactly we would do without him playing for our team anymore. Instead of giving up right there all of us got focused and practiced to the best of our ability trying to get better each and every day. In doing this we were able to obtain our goal of winning the state championship and having an unblemished season. This is one of the many obstacles that my team had to overcome and refocus to gain sight and achieve our goal.
I was very fortunate in having a very skilled and dedicated team. Taking first in our conference, division, and in the end the state title. In doing so I learned that it is very important to be dedicated to your team. I also was able to pick up a very good work ethic in not missing a single practice all year. I believe that I not only have the talent to participate and make an immediate impact on your team, but also the hard-work, dedication, and work ethic need to excel at the next level. I would enjoy attending a school that would challenge me athletically and academically. Also a school that wants to help me improve and help me get to where I need to be.
