“Be uncommon among uncommon people“
My name is Chris Shakespeare and I am a wide receiver (1st team Northern Nevada 5A All-Region 2023), and 1st team 5A All-Region track sprinter. (Graduate of Spanish Springs High School (Sparks/Reno NV). My goal is to play wide receiver at the highest level possible in college, and I push myself everyday to achieve that goal. I truly love playing football and now that our 2023 season is over, I am so proud that our team was blessed to make it to Northern 5A championship game two years in a row. Speed, toughness and a never quit attitude is what I bring to the field everyday.
A very close second to football is track, where I am essentially a sprinter, competing in the 100m, 200m and 400m. In the 200m, I am ranked #1 in Northern Nevada and top 3 in the state. I am also ranked in the top 5 in the state in the 100m. I have always been told that I am a very coachable player, and I consider my work ethic and drive to be my biggest strengths. I will do whatever it takes to play (and win) in football at the highest college level.
My family is at the center of everything that I do and achieve. They are always there with me giving support and guidance.
