Football is such a physical game and I love every minute of it. There is no better feeling to me then being on the field with my brothers, the feeling of trust and faith in your teammates is what makes football so special to me.
I personally have come so far physically and mentally during the last few years when I've really started to focus on football. My experiences of playing hockey and volleyball at a high level have also helped me develop my overall athletic ability. During every football practice, I would push my limits and compete with myself and others in order to perform to the best of my abilities. I would also stay after practice to ask my coaches how I could improve as a leader on my team. I have no quit when it comes to conditioning, you will never see me quit when I am faced with adversity. I simply don’t have an off button when it comes to football.
I understand how fortunate I am that so far, school has come easy to me. My parents are always proud at the end of the school year when they receive comments concerning my grades and my character from all my teachers. I also understand that being a student-athlete involves a lot of hard work both on and off the field. I will continue to challenge myself with academic courses that will open doors for my future.
The perfect college for me would support my commitment to become a productive citizen, a strong community member and push me to reach my academic and athletic goals. But most importantly I want to be apart of a school community that believes in good people like myself.
