Personal Statement

Hello Coach,

My name  is Kody Palladino, I am a 6'2 240lb junior aspiring to play college football.  It has always been a  dream of mine to play in college and I'm doing every thing in my power to do  so.  I have  passion for physical fitness and would love to study kinisiology or physical therapy in college.  My ultimate goal is to play 4  years of scholarship football and  earn a bachelors degree. What  makes me a good candidate for your school is my desire, dedication, and dependability. My desire to be the best student-athlete that  I can be by outworking everyone else on and off the field to reach my goals.  My dedication to make sure I maintain my grades, my dedication to the weight room and making sure my body is taken care of, and my dedication to my goals and putting  myself in the best position to reach them. My dependability to show up everyday to school, my family, my team.  There is nobody who outworks me I'm the first one  in the weight room and the last one to leave. I am a leader and try to  make everyone around me better by pushing them.  What makes me different is my perseverance, 8 years  ago my dad was diagnosed with kidney failure and battles for his life every day.  This past fall was the hardest, my dad was in the hospital for 4 months and nearly lost his life.  I was basically on my own between my mom helping my dad and my siblings working and going to school.  As a 15 year old I could have given up and  got lost in the crowd but instead I used it as an energy and worked even harder to pass all my peers.  I became hungry and focused and my goals became clear, I know what I want and nothing is going to stop me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
