Hi my name is Edwin R. Taveras Jr and I would like to talk about my self a little. I remember one of my dreams as an eight year old child who was about to start his first year of football. I told myself everyday when I started that I will, and I am going to be the best in my position . When I remember getting my first tackle in little league, my mother and father were so proud of me. I lost my mother at a young age near freshman year due to drugs and bad choices. I've had some sad times during the event. Grades were getting low, I never really wanted to talk to anyone, and I felt like an outcast. One thing that has always kept me going and pushing forward was I always had the motivation that I was gonna out work everyone. I wanted to put in more work during and after hours. Even when my motivation was running low, I always worked and stuck to it while never giving up. I believe that's how I became such a strong leader in the long run. Now with all that work, progress, and determination, I've built myself a nice reputation for colleges to lookout for and why I believe I'm different from the other recruits. Teenagers nowadays want to be lazy, have everything done for them, and most importantly not put in any effort. Well from a very young age, I was taught differently. Due to that statement, I have had a successful job that I started at the age of 15. I believe what makes me a good candidate for your team is the motivation I have to be the best in my position and I have the heart to do it as well. So now that I am focused on challenging myself academically, when I do make it to college, I want to major in computer science because Ive always have been fasinated by the subject.
