I'm a hard working kid both on and off the football field. I do not slack in my academics and I never take plays off. I love all of the sports that I participate in but my priorities are my family, then my school work, and finally my sports. My freshman year of high school I played freshman football as well as started JV. My freshman team went 8-1 which is the best record for a freshman team in my school to date. That same year I participated in wrestling for the first time ever and I ended my JV season 11-5. Following wrestling I participated in Spring Track throwing the shot put, javelin, and discus. I was awarded the best freshman javelin thrower in my county. I also scored many varsity points for my team in the regular season.
My sophomore year my team was in need of a center so I stepped up as a young player and filled the varsity position. I also played on the other side of the ball as DE as a sophomore on varsity. I also decided to leave wrestling behind because I had fallen in love with the track team and their way of life so now I participate in winter track and I am currently the top shot put thrower on the team. I have two younger siblings in which I would like to show that anything is possible so long as you work for it by accomplishing my dream of playing football at the college level.
My parents support me in everything I do and I am very grateful for that. If you ask them along with any other of my family members, they will tell you that I hate to lose. I will do anything in my power to prevent the chance of me losing in anything in life, whether it's an extra hour studying or one more rep in the weight room. I'm just a kid looking for a chance to do something great with his life, I hope you give me that chance. Thank you.
