I grew up watching football with my dad and I couldn’t believe how important the sport has become in my life. With each practice, weight room session, and game, I developed more physically and mentally. I started both ways this year at Left Tackle and Defensive End in our 4-3 defense. I was awarded the 2021 All-Conference Award at Tackle. I try to balance athletics with community service and recieved my Eagle Scout fron the BSA after completing my community service project. In college, I plan to major in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Balancing academics and sports are challenging for all student athletes. I have maintained a 3.9 average while playing football and while throwing shot put and discus during track season. I hope to continue this success at a great college. Football has taught me so much about teamwork, leadership, and competition. All of these are skills I’ll use for the rest of my life.
