Being selected as part of the USA National Football Team seemed like the highlight of my Football Career, however, after seeing and working alongside of amazing players from all over the United States, I knew that I wanted more. I set my sights high and worked hard in the off-season getting myself stronger through weight training and faster through speed and agility training. Hard work paid off as I was then asked to represent my country as part of the 2015 International Bowl U16 team as a freshman. There again I thought was the highlight of my high school career. This was a taste of teamwork and sacrifice, of which I knew that I would want more. I also put in tons of work and focus both on and off the field earning Honors 2 of the 4 marking periods in my Sophomore year, which was equalled by my being asked to be part of the Varsity team, along with being the only Sophomore to reach the 1200lbs club for weight lifting. I grew the most as a student-athlete my sophomore year when our team made the state championship , a game which we lost to a stronger more prepared team. That experience helped me realize that I need to continue to work hard, push forward and grow both in my outlook and the application of what I have learned on and off of the field.
I am fortunate enough to be part of 2 amazing football programs, the honor of being part of my high school team with it's success, along with going on to win the U16 international bowl game at AT&T Stadium in Texas February 2016. As my Junior year started I was again asked to join the Varsity Team where I earned a Varsity Letter, just before the playoffs I was invited to again represent the USA in the 2017 International Bowl. Since my high school team was in the hunt again toward a chance at a state title, I kept this news to my immediate family and friends and told no one on our team. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership another year without a trophy. I am proud to say that I am part of my school team as well as the USA team. I will continue to work hard to improve myself physically, academically and spiritually.
I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a 3 time captain on both my high school and USA National teams, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team as well as follow directions from my Coaches and teachers!
I feel as though growing is a huge part of life, I also feel that learning and applying what I learn is just as important.
Thank you for your interest I hope I can be considered for a place on your team as well as a seat in your classrooms.
