I am a passionate and diverse multisport athlete. I have experience at Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver, Cornerback, Safety, Linebacker, Special Teams and Punter. My favorite positions are Defensive Back and Wide Receiver, but I do enjoy Running Back and Linebacker and I love the challenge that each position provides. Currently at varsity level, I have been assigned to Receiver, Defensive Back and Outside Linebacker. I do play both sides of the ball each game. My passion for football began at the age of seven. At that time I attended my first football camp to see if football was something I would be interested in. Needless to say, ten years later football has become my greatest love.
Throughout my athletic years I have learned that there will always be someone bigger, better, and stronger than me. In knowing this, it drives me to become an elite athlete. Football has taught me the true meaning of loyalty, teamwork and that it takes more than one individual to achieve victory.
My parents have been a huge influence on who I am today. They taught me the importance of hard work, integrity, and how to be humble. My parents will point out areas where I can improve in life and athletics. They have never sugar coated any of their feedback and I believe this has helped me to be very coachable. I am able to take constructive criticism and learn from it.
As I visualize my college years, my goal is to study Athletic Trainer, Exercise Science or Sports Management so that I can pursue a career as an athletic trainer, physical therapist or athletic director. I am looking for a college institute that offers one or more of these fields of study as well as a highly competitive athletic program.
Aside from my athletic ability, I would like to acknowledge that at the end of 8th grade I was awarded the " Principles Award ". The principal stated " That in all his years as a principle, he has never met a student that made it a point to stop by his office to chat. Most kids are trying to avoid the principles office, not this kid. This particular student is always willing to help his fellow students. He is what I would like to call a diamond in the rough."
