Hi Coaches,
My name is John Maccarella and I have been playing football since I was in 7th grade. Despite not playing until the age of 12, I always watched my older cousin punt/kick from when he was in junior high all the way up to high school and now college. He had a big influence on me, and I always wanted to be a "special teams" player because I looked up to him.
I would love to continue the opportunity to play the sport I love in college. I work hard in the classroom and have a 4.5 GPA. It is my desire to become an engineer one day.
