Zayne Carswell '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a versatile athlete who makes an impact at WR, DB, and special teams. I run sharp routes, create separation with strong footwork, and make plays after the catch with vision and burst. As a returner, I'm explosive in space and take pride in changing field position every time I touch the ball.

I'm ranked among top returners in NJ with a 26.24 kickoff return average. I finished #1 in the Super Football Conference United White and top 9 statewide with 446 total return yards. I also recorded 631 receiving yards which placed me in the top forty in the state and #2 in my division, earning me All-County (Sussex) First Team & Super Football Conference All-Division: United White for returner. Last season I also earned Honorable Mention All-Division on defense for my work at defensive back.

I'm a committed multi-sport athlete. By sophomore year I was a varsity competitor in football, track, and basketball. In track I helped lead a 4 x 400 squad to a Morris County Championship and I earned All-Conference First Team honors. 

I am a hardworking and coachable player who loves to compete and improve every day. I maintain a 3.1 GPA and interested in Sports Medicine. My goal is to play at the next level and bring speed, playmaking ability, toughness, and a team focused mindset to a college program who will value and utilize my skills.
