I want to play football and pursue a career in teaching and coaching. Football is my passion and has been since second grade. I've worked hard at it during the season as well as off season, training with professional athletes such Matt Simms and former pros such as Tank Daniels of the NY Giants. My character makes me a good recruit because i take pride in my aggressive work ethic and my approach to the game. I am a wide receiver, but as you can see from my Hudl film, I am not afraid of contact and enjoy blocking down field. I am also a team player and will do whatever it takes to help my team succeed. I take pride in representing whatever team I play for and do whatever it takes to ensure the fact that I do not diminish its reputation.
Not only do I embrace the fact of being an athlete, but the structure and discipline that the football atmosphere has created for me, carries over into my academic and social life. I have learned how to apply my hard working mindset and tenacious competitiveness to my everyday school work.
While performing in sports and the classroom, I also hold a part time job working with kids at a local sports training facility on the weekends. In addition, I find the time to do community service involving my church and I was also a "big brother" to pee wee football player at the local Boys & Girls club.
In short, I will work hard and represent my team well. I take pride in being a well rounded and grounded individual.
