Gustavo Diaz-Castro '25 Recruiting Profile

I love competition and I like to always challenge myself to a higher degree over and over again, I believe collegiate sports would satisfy my need for higher-level competition and academics as well. Coming from a Martial Arts and teaching background; working and striving to eventually get my back belt, has given me the discipline and drive to complete any goals I have and push through obstacles along the way, not only by myself but also by leading teams of individuals through stressful competitions and situations. Overall I believe that the competitiveness of collegiate sports and the challenges of college academics in the future would be an exciting challenge I would like to face head-on and with goals of growing as a person in only one direction, up!
