Matthew Perdue '23 Recruiting Profile

I am looking forward to starting my college career in the 2023 year.  My goal is to explore and develop my knowledge and growth into a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Science. My strong knowledge built in my honors and AP course in High School has set me up on a pathway of success in this major.  On the football field my plans are to continue to excel and be the dynamic player on both sides of the ball.  My attitude and current leadership skill set developed in High School have aligned me to continue to encourage, motivate, and bring the positive influence on the team.  I also am interested in excelling on the Wrestling mat, continuing to develop and utilize my wrestling skill set gained over the past 8 years. Above everything I plan on demonstrating myself with honor and respect on and off the field and mat, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects not only myself but my team, coaches and the University I attend.
