For me, playing football is more than just a game.  Playing football brings me courage, strength, passion, and determination to keep moving forward.  Since the age of five, playing football has always excited me in a very special way.  However, I was not as good starting but within me, I felt I had the potential to be good. Therefore, I started working harder and harder every time to improve my skills. Now I see myself playing at a collegiate although I am just a freshman in high school.  One thing I am sure of is that to get to where I want to be, it is going to take hard work, commitment, and resilience on my part.  I remember,   my mom always tells me, “if you want something, you have to work hard for it and do not expect a hand out from anybody.”  I live by that standard.  Further, taking the advice of my coaches in to consideration, my goal is to be faster, stronger, and tougher.  In order to reach my goal, I plan to train harder in the
 offseason every day, have a planned nutrition diet, and work on my speed, agility, and plyometric.  I am working harder to improve my game both on and off the field and academically.  When on the field, I see myself as a team player and a leader who is humble, coachable and there to help my teammates and encourage them.  Academically, I am 100% committed to working steadfastly to get better grades; I know education is the key to success and therefore, I put in just as much work as I do on the field—I am taking all honor classes and my GPA is 3.6 but I know I can do even better than that.

Apart from playing football and school, I am passionate about giving back to the community where I come from.

At present, I am exploring my options in order to ultimately find the right college that is the best fit for me and that will help me be a better player as well as a great role model on and off the field.  My priorities in life are God first, family, and school; football is where my deepest passion lies and ready to put in the necessary work to get me to where I need to be…the right college!
