My Name is Corey Mitchell, I am a Sophomore at Hillside High School in Durham NC, I play both Football and Baseball. I've been playing football and Baseball since I was 5. I love the game of football, it brings so much life and it really have been teaching me life lessons. I have great character, I'm fun to be around, I bring life to my team because I feel like in order to have a "team" you first have to have a brotherhood. I've been told I have great leadership skills therefor I'm a leader on my team. I always play for the team because I know my teammates are working just as hard as me and it would be selfish to only do things that's going to benefit me. This past football season we came in and everybody didn't believe in us but my brothers and I knew that no one was going to give it to us so we worked hard everyday, and that hard work got us into the playoffs. We lost first round but we knew that we have what it takes to make it. When I make it to college I want to be a Marine Biologist, I want to change lives in the Marine life. I have a love for animals and I am now on the way to getting an associate degree from Durham Tech. I also want to change lives with my level of play on a higher level, I grew up watching some of the greatest Football and Baseball ever and they really changed my life and I just want to change athletes life the same way the greats did. My favorite NFL team is the Seattle Seahawks and my favorite MLB team is the New York Yankees.
