Tanner Poindexter '13 Recruiting Profile

My senior highlights  http://www.hudl.com/athlete/526480/highlights/15242377    My name Tanner Poindexter, I am 6'3", 300 pounds. I am a Senior at Reagan High School in Pfafftown, North Carolina. I started JV as a freshman, and 8 quartered half way through the season for the Varsity team. As a Sophomore I was to be the starting right tackle for the Varsity team but before the season, I had a ruptured appendix. I was hospitalized for 2 weeks and lost 25 pounds. Once I was able to return, I started for the JV team. As a player I have always been a team leader and have had younger players look up to me. I am agile and athletic for my size. I would like to go to a larger school, preferably in D1-A or D1-AA. I would like to play at the highest level possible and maintain the importance of academics for my future career path.
