Hello Coach, my name is Douglas Koepplin. I am currently a senior at Grant County High School in Elgin, ND. I currently play defensive end, defensive tackle, noseguard, center, and long snapper. I have been a started on varstiy the past two seasons at these positions. This past season I was able to help our team reach the Class A playoffs for the first time since 2008. It has always been a dream of mine to play college football. I would be honored to play at any level I am a hard-working and tough player that will do whatever is best for the team. I have been working out year round for the past three years with my coach Dave Delaplane, and my brother who is a college wide receivers coach. I feel that a good season starts in the offseason getting more flexible, stronger, faster, and football savvy. This past season it was my goal to make all conference, all region, and the all state teams. So far I have had the honor of being selected to the first two respectively and hope that the teams' success, as well as my own helps me earn the final honor. I did not get selected to the All-State team but I am ok with what I have earned. I am using this power to help motivate myself in working harder to improve and get better I am looking for a school in any region, and I am looking not only for a good football program but also receiving a quality education. I would like to study in the education fields with specializations in speech/English, as well as vocational agriculture education. I would also like to get a trade certificate in carpentry, as well as a minor in coaching. One day I look forward to coming back home to coach and take over our family ranch and farm. I will have film up in the very near future. Thank you for your time and thank you for viewing my recruiting profile.
