Growing up, I was told that I would end up in only two places. Either dead or in jail. As a child I never really knew why or what this meant. But now as I get older I see that life only gets harder. A lot of things in this world you have to take the extra mile to achieve. As well as in football. You may have to run 120 yards just to score and 80 yard touchdown. In other words, as I matured, I realized that in order to prove others wrong and shine light over my community, I have to go big and beyond. In my life situation, that big step would be one of the few in my family to go and finish college. Many people justify why they want to go college. My personal opinion is that college is a place you go away from home to find yourself in this world. I look at college as a business trip. Taking a trip to organize your life in the long run. If going to college is that step I need to take in order to be successful, then I will put my blood, sweat, and tears into the game of football which I love!!
