Michael Daniels '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Michael Daniels.  I live in Ohio where I'm currently a senior at the Clyde High School. I have been playing football since the 5th grade.  I was the starting running back on our 2020 and 2021 varsity squad where I made the Northwest Ohio District First Team, the Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division First Team, and the Fremont News Messenger Teams both years!  Furthermore, I received back-to-back honorable mentions for the OPSWA Division IV All-Ohio Team in both 2020 and 2021.  I rushed for 1275 yards and scored 16 rushing touchdowns during a shortened pandemic afflicted season in 2020 and rushed for 1395 yards and scored 23 touchdowns in 2021!  I was also a member of the 2019 Division IV State Championship Team.  Academically, my cumulative GPA is 3.8 where I was named to the Sandusky Bay Conference Football Academic Team 3 consecutive years and to the 2021 OHSFCA Academic All Ohio Team. I run track in the spring where my events are the 100- and 200-meter dashes and the 4 X 100 and 4 X 200 relays.  I'm dedicated to my team, my coaches, and my school.  I have a positive attitude that I will carry into my college years in addition to having a strong ambition to excel in sports while pursuing a career in criminal justice.
