Hi, I'm Brendan Laret and I'm a junior at Bishop Hartley High School. I have been blessed enough to be a part of three strong years of football on a varsity level. I started playing as a sophomore on varsity and learned what it takes to make it to the top, especially from the classes before me. They have been great seasons where I have learned what it takes to be a leader in difficult situations. The most difficult situation was not making it far in the playoffs in my junior season. It has taught me how hard I need to work every day to become a state champion. Throughout my junior year, I was a leader that my teammates and coaches could count on in difficult situations. I have learned that football is a great sport that helps you become a great person for the future because you will fail and it's how you react to it that will show your character. The academic goal that I have for high school is to finish my time at Hartley with an accumulative 3.9 GPA or higher. In College, I want to continue my education and learn the skills that will help me for the rest of my life. I have very unique characteristics I'm able to stay calm under pressure in serious situations. I'm a great leader who is always trying to help his teammates get better. Also, I have a great work ethic, I'm always trying to get better and work on the weak parts of my game.
