Ry has a tremendous desire to play college football. He understands that he may have to play a different position than what he does and is willing to do whatever it takes. As his father, I have been extremely impressed with how hard he works in practice, during games, and on his own during the season and in the offseason. He understands that the only way he will get the chance to play after high school is to do the job in school as well as on the field.
Rylan always played RB but has switched to slot receiver over the last couple season as well as serves as a off/on again starting quarterback when needed while adapting to various offenses. Defensively, he has played OLB, CB, and S.
Ry understands that to play after high school he must live a life of integrity, commit himself academically, and continue to develop athletically. He understands that coaches must count on their players. We have spoke about why some athletes loose playing time or leave teams while others move up the depth chart; coaches do not want players they cannot rely on due to academic or behavior problems. As a former college athlete and coach I am assisting him in selecting schools and program where he may best fit.
