My name is Isaiah Durant. I'm the second oldest of seven kids. I’m in the student leadership at my church. I've done three years of speech and debate. I was also the head of my troop at trail life (basically boy scouts). I do all my classes at tri-c, our local community college, I will graduate high school with my associates.
My school Cuyahoga heights, and more specifically the football program we have there has helped shape the athlete and more importantly man I am today. We have a long-standing culture of hard work and toughness that has fed into decades of success, we've been to the playoffs 22 out of our head coaches 24 years. We've went to the state championship my freshman and sophomore year, but the next year it was mt grades turn to step up and fill all the shoes left empty by the last two classes. Last year we had 5 seniors and zero returning starters on the O-line, people thought that the football program was done, but we stepped up, worked our butts off all offseason and every day at practice and fought our way to final four in the state.
