Personal Statement

My primary collegiate goal is to graduate from school with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. However, my secondary goal is to play football at the collegiate level. Because of my love for the game, it’s been a dream of mine since I started playing in the 3rd grade. I feel that I'm a good candidate for your team for several reasons. First, I have a sound understanding of the game and respect for the importance of the fundamentals. Second, I'm a team player and am willing to put in the work to help the team succeed. Finally, I value all of my teammates and treat them with respect. I ensure that each of them know their value; whether they are a 4th year varsity player or a first year freshman. What makes me different from other candidates is I'm a great listener, I realize that I can always learn more and grow as a player, and I am committed to do that. I've been playing sports for most of my life at high caliber levels and I’m excited at the prospect of taking it to the next level. I believe that the lessons I’ve acquired on the field are lessons that I’ll take forward with me into my future as a businessman, a family man and as a strong, well-rounded person.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
