Jacob Sherrick '15 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to pursue an opportunity to play football at the next level.  I have been around football all of my life.  My grandfather was a high school football coach for 34 years, and was inducted into the Ohio High Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame. I have an uncle who is a very successful high school football coach.  Through watching the two of them I feel like I know what it takes to become a hard working college football player. I am planning on obtaining an Education degree, and I have the desire to coach as well.  I feel that my strengths are that I am a hard worker and a quick learner.  My knowledge in the classroom carries over to the field. During this offseason I am working on improving my strength, quickness and explosiveness to better prepare myself for the next level.  I am involved in multiple sports and other extracurricular activities and still have been able to maintain a high GPA.  I am also currently taking Post Secondary classes at a local college.
