Lain Copper '23 Recruiting Profile

My dream would be to play football collegiately. I believe I would be a great fit for any program because of my work ethic and leadership. My work ethic can be reflected by the fact that I work 25-30 hours a week and still maintain a 3.6/4.0 GPA. My leadership skills are noticeable in every aspect of my life but one example stands out the most. My school was the target of a fake shooting threat. During this time I was eating lunch. I didn't have time to panic when our administrators told the cafeteria to split. Half went to one locker room and the other half went to the other. I helped get everyone seated, keep everyone calm, and guard the doors incase someone were to get in. After SWAT came and did a sweep I stayed back and made sure evryone was put of the locker room safley. Then afterwards all the students in the school were in the gym while teachers were finding their students and getting organized. During this time I helped pass out food to all the students and staff faculty. I belive this helped me step up as a leader and I will use that experience as a reminder to continue to step up in the future.
