I started playing football freshman year, and I fell in love with the sport. I used my love for the sport to fuel my motivation and dedication, which helped me become a starter mid-season. I continued to work on my skills because I knew that in my sophomore year I could have a chance to start. sadly I did not get the starting spot, and I did not even get back up for my position. I did not let this affect my love and desire for the sport, and for our last game in the playoffs, we lost. I watched all my friends who played their hearts out just completely break down and cry. from that moment I knew I was never going to let someone outwork me. In my junior season, I earned the starting spot beating out other seniors and juniors. I am a hard worker, who always strives to be the best I can be, and I'm a supportive teammate. I never drag my teammates down, but I make sure they are doing everything that can to be done, correctly. This is on and off the field, I hold my teammates and friends accountable, because it isn't just me on the field, there are another ten right next to me. I'm a versatile player, I learn quickly and use my speed to my advantage. I have taken up other responsibilities for my team being an extra linebacker and d-end. At the end of the day I want to be better than the person who woke up that day, and I want my team to strive for great things.
