My favorite part about football is the grind. I love practice, love the weight room. Practice gives me a chance to grow physically and mentally, and I get to have a great time with my brothers. I can only do so much as a kicker, so when I'm not kicking I take responsibility and use leadership skills to make sure others around me are attentive and having a good time. Speaking of leadership, I have found myself as the lone senior in my youth group at church. I've taken this opportunity to become a role model for the younger kids, setting a good example for them to follow.
I work very hard in the classroom. I've never seen lower than an A on my report card, and I take pride in that. I'm a 2 sport athlete, playing soccer since I was about 4 years old. I believe my experience in soccer translates well to the football field, especially as a kicker. I've learned to overcome great adversity in both of these sports throughout my career, and that has developed strong perseverance in all areas of my life. I believe with all of the hard work I've put in over the past few years, I would be a great asset to a college football program.
