My freshman year has been my most exciting year so far as a student-athlete. My freshman year we won the Oklahoma 2A State Championship in football. During my sophomore year we fell just short of our goal, losing in the semifinals. The feeling after that loss led me to be more dedicated, committed, and led me to understand the true value of teamwork. I grew the most as a player and leader during the start of my junior year when I transitioned from a receiver to quarterback. Playing quarterback has helped me have a better understanding of the game and to prosper as a player. I feel I have the talent to play at the next level.
So far I have been a part of an amazing program that has led me to become a state champion, state semifinalist, and state quarterfinalist. They have taught me to be a hardworking and dedicated teammate and leader. I’m looking for a college that fits me both athletically and academically. I not only believe that I have the skills and talent to compete at the next level but I also have the attitude and character to come in and immediately make a big impact on your program. I know I have what it takes to become an important role on your team!
