In second grade, I told my dad "I am going to play college football." Since that time, I have kept that goal in mind season after season on the practice field and in games.
As an athlete, focus is at the top of my priorities list. Whatever the goal, the drill, the play or challenge, I will remain focused until I have accomplished the task. I have been taught from an early age to not make excuses; as a result, I am driven to work hard and earn everything I get.
Much of the same drive in football transfers to the classroom. I fully understand that my character in the classroom is a reflection of my attitude on the field. Football will come to an end but all that I learn and takeaway from the classroom will be with me the rest of my life.
My drive to work hard, constant laser focus and desire to never back down from the challenges issued from coaches, is a combination that will help me go far as a member of any roster at any level.
