Dear Prospective Coach,
My name is Jared Iscimenler (pronounced Ish-men-ler). Thank you for taking the time to review my profile, and allowing me the opportunity to share a little bit about myself through my Personal Statement.
Sports as a whole has played a major role in my life and I have participated in a number of programs including football, soccer, basketball, baseball, track and power lifting. I envision my college years to be a personal growth period, with a goal to explore either a Computer Science or Business Administration degree program. My father holds two degrees with one in Health Management and the other in Nutrition, my mother is a BSN/RN, my stepdad has his Bachelor of Arts & Sciences, my grandfather (dad’s side) was an MD, and my Aunt (dad’s sister) holds a PhD in Pharmacology. Needless to say, getting a college education is a top priority and in my future.
Playing football at the collegiate level is a goal I plan to achieve and will not quit until it becomes a reality. I believe I have the personal, physical, and intellectual skills required to help me realize my goal, and failure is not an option. On the football field, I play with passion and will be a high impact player while being a positive influence on others around me. As I develop both physically and mentally throughout my college career, I will strive to be an asset to your program and always give 100%. Most importantly, I will conduct myself in an ethical and responsible manner both on and off the field, understanding full well the way I carry myself will be a reflection of my teammates, my coaches, and the University that I attend. I am looking for stability and tenure in a coaching staff, and open to schools that place an emphasis on helping the student-athlete be successful personally and academically.
I believe I have the drive, discipline and attitude you look for in a well-rounded recruit.
Open to all options.
Kind regards,
Jared “Ish” Iscimenler
