Cooper Lai '23 Recruiting Profile

 I’ve always had a natural football instinct and love for the game. I’m comfortable excelling in unfamiliar positions because I willdo whatever it takes to help my team succeed. My teammates would describe me as positive, flexible, dynamic, dependable, and dedicated. I’m grounded by my faith and family, who have instilled in me an incredible work ethic. Core to my Catholic beliefs, is the cultivation of humility. I believe the strongest leaders are those that lead with humility, listen to others and trust in God.  

  As a team-first player, I’m looking for an atmosphere where team is family, where everyone works hard to compete and where I can contribute to our success. My coaches have reiterated to me the most dangerous player on the field is the player who can play anywhere, so I have embraced playing several positions with grit and discipline. The football field is my domain, where I feel most at home. I look forward to challenges that lie ahead, motivating my teammates and growing as a player. I will never stop learning, leading, and listening.
