Owen Clarke '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing sports for most of my life. Over these years I have learned not only about the commitment towards the sport itself, but the commitment to your teammates. I've always considered myself a leader on and off the field. However, leadership abilities are not only in athletics, but they have also been recognized in school, through me receiving the Ontario's Principals Award for Student Leadership. I am a very hard worker and will do anything to help myself, and others succeed as much as possible! I do have goals of my own, these include getting into the best school I can and succeeding at the college/university level both academically and athletically.

I am always looking for opportunities to improve, one of the reasons I signed up on this website. If I have an opportunity before me, I will take it, and make the best of it. I do my best to be the first one out on the field and the last one off. Not only do I take opportunities in athletics, but also in academics. I will always work hard in and out of the class to maintain the highest marks I can possibly get!

Recently, I've received the awards for Special Teams MVP of the 2019 Huronia Stallions team I was a part of. In addition to this, I received the Junior Rugby MVP award and won my 3rd straight SCAA Championship and currently have 2 GBSSA Championships that my team and I won in my first two years.

I assure you that I will not let my coach or my teammates down. No matter the cost.
