Carter Steeves '22 Recruiting Profile

My main goals as I move forward in life are to better myself athletically, academically, and at the same time become a better person and teammate. I want to compete at a high level of play and excel in the classroom and with my studies. 

I feel as though I was born a natural leader and I’ve been told many times by coaches that I am where the team starts and that they will all follow my lead and I always strive to be the best example for my teammates and peers on and off the field. 

I think what separates me from others is that I have dedicated a large amount of time to football while still exceeding in the classroom. This year was difficult because we had a very low turnout for football and many people stopped practicing and working out when it seemed like we may not have any games to play this season, but along with a few friends, myself and them continued working out and putting in the time always striving to get better during the offseason/preseason. I am very coachable as well as adaptable and I will always be open to new ideas and concepts.
