I'm a three-sport athlete in team-based sports. Since I was five years old, I have participated in football, wrestling, and baseball. I have a natural talent for football and have found it to be the most rewarding. I am currently a sophomore in high school and desire to play football in college. I know that playing in college is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I am always working to improve my skills and training to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I consistently show up early, I am one of the last to leave, and I never miss practices. I am a team leader and try to lead by guiding my younger teammates as they struggle to learn new plays. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest-working players. My coaches always know that they can rely on me to do my job well.
In the classroom, I am academically sound. I am first in my class in rankings and have every intention and expectation of graduating in the number one position. I work well both individually as well as with classmates. I participate in advanced courses, honor roll, and national honor society.
In the community, I have spent numerous hours volunteering for our youth. Volunteer activities include cleaning up baseball fields, setting up and helping with baseball tryouts, home plate umpiring, officiating wrestling tournaments, and helping at youth football camps. I also work part-time as a farmhand at a local farm/cider house.
I hope to find a college where I can push myself academically and competitively on the football field. I hope to be a great role model and leader for my brothers and peers. Ultimately, I'm looking for a college that allows me to attain a quality education and a rewarding athletic experience.
