My goal is to play football while studying at a school that has a strong engineering program. I have played football for most my life and have been assigned to and welcomed various positions from center to offensive line to defensive line to quarter back . It turns out that QB is my favorite position to play because it has taught me to grow personally as a leader and team player. I started on Gresham High school varsity football team this year (2018-2019) as defensive end and was a backup quarter back as well. Now that the season is over, I am highly motivated to manage my time well and discipline myself during the off season to meet my goals.
What makes me different from other athletes is that I am loyal to my high school football team even if our team isn't the best team in the conference. During the off season I consistently encourage my team mates to go to the gym with me to build strength and mass to get ready for the next year. I continue to play 7 vs 7 football for more experience as a quarterback. I will also be playing Varsity basketball to increase my speed and conditioning. In addition I enjoy improving my leadership skills by assisting with high school football youth camp along side my football team mates. I plan to meet my goals to play quarterback at the college level while studying engineering.
