Gavin Ross '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Gavin Ross, I've started varsity since my freshman year and have played football since 1st grade. Like any other high school football player, my goal is to play football at the college level. I love the game and understand it very well. Of course I would love to play at a big D1 school but football is football. At the end of the day all that matters is working hard with your teammates no matter what level you are playing at. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a hard worker. I know what it is like to win big games, and I also know what it is like to lose them.

This last football season my team was on the verge of giving up. We were 2-2, with our 2 loses to top 5 teams in the state. The players and coaching staff had disagreements on play calls, and there just wasn't a good atmosphere. We came through and won 8 straight to make it to the state championship game where we lost to the Vale Vikings 45-19. No one expected us to make it that far. I know what it's like to go through adversity and how to push through when the odds or against you.
