I like to think of myself as a well-rounded person. I take pride in my ability to balance everything that is going on in my life. While I am extremely focused on football, I also participate in other sports and activities. In my junior year of football (fall 2018), I was the punter, a starting linebacker and backup quarterback. As linebacker, I was second overall in tackles for the team. At this time for fall 2019, I will be the starting quarterback, linebacker and punter. For lacrosse I received varsity letters for my freshman, sophomore and junior years and was a varsity captain for the spring 2019 season. I play mid-fielder, which requires versatility and endurance. In school, as with sports, I like to challenge myself, and have taken honors classes in math and science. Even so, in my freshman and sophomore years I slacked off a bit and I didn’t work as hard as I should or could have. However, this year (my junior year) I have learned from my mistakes and made academics a priority and currently have a 3.1 for the year. and ended the year on the Honor Roll. When I’m not in a sport season, I am in the weight room working out every week, my motto is “No such thing as a day off”. When playing sports, I am an extremely driven and focused person. I work hard and strive to always be a leader. My coaches have always said I am very coachable and a team player and I take pride in that. Off the field I am a pretty laid back person, a go with the flow type of guy. I like to have fun but I do know when to get serious. In addition to sports and school, I volunteer at a local food pantry as well as help with a youth lacrosse team.
